Simple and Inexpensive 5 Can Soup Recipe

Years ago I learned a super easy and healthy soup recipe from Weight Watchers.  When the weather gets colder, I love to make this for dinner along with grilled cheese sandwiches.  It is so easy and everyone loves it.  Here is Houston we are going to have some colder weather for the next few days, which made me think about making soup, so I thought it would be a perfect time to share the recipe with the rest of you.  Here it is:

1 can Minestrone Soup
1 can Ranch Style Beans
1 can Diced Tomatoes
1 can Veg-All (Mixed Vegetables) Drained
1 can Cream Corn

Pour the ingredients from all the cans in a pot and cook until heated.  That's it.  Dinner is served.  My daughter, Lauren, likes to brown ground beef and add it to the other ingredients for a heartier soup.  It is great that way, just not as healthy.

I paid $2.80 for all 5 ingredients.  This will make about 5 servings. That makes it only .56 a serving.  Give it a try and let me know if you and your family liked it.

  1. Interesting. I assume you drain the mixed veggies but not the others? Getting ready to follow you back - thanks for following me!
