If you look over to the right of my page you can see where you can print coupons from coupons.com.  Put in different zip codes and see what coupons come up and print out the ones you can use.  If there is one you like, go ahead and print it out or it may be gone before you go back to print it.  Then hold it until a sale comes up for that item.  Check back daily, they change the coupons frequently.

Click on the tab for Coupon Codes.  This is where you can go when you you are placing an order for something online.  Search for the retailer you are ordering from and see what discounts they are offering.  When you find one you like, click on it and it will take you directly to their website.  It's that simple.  Give it a try next time you order something online.

I was in New York & Co. and Justice a few days ago.  It was a spur of the moment trip to the mall, so I had no coupons with me.  I needed to buy my daughter a few things, so I did some quick thinking.  I asked the salesperson at both stores if I could pull up a coupon on my phone and give them the code, could I use it on my purchase.  I am happy to report that both stores were happy to comply.  I saved an additional 40% off my total at Justice and I saved an additional $25.00 off my total at New York & Co.  So, if you ever get caught at a store without a coupon and you have internet on your phone, google the name of the store and then coupon.  You just might save yourself some extra cha ching!!!

Macy's Clearance

I wanted to share with you that Macy's has a clearance going on right now.  I only shopped in the Women's Department, so I don't know about Men's or Children's.  They had a ton of clothes for 70% off, lots of bathing suits for 50% off and racks and racks of shoes for 65 to 75% off.  If you are a Macy's cardholder and charge your purchase to your card, you will score an extra 20% off automatically, no coupon needed.  I NEVER, EVER pay full price for anything, so I had to take advantage of this sale.  My favorite bargain of the day was a super cute pair of shorts by MICHAEL KORS.  The original price was $69.50 (crazy) and after the sale price plus my additional 20% off, I paid just $16.68.  That is a savings of 76%.  Woo Hoo!!!  Go check it out and see what bargains you can find.

Beware the Dreaded Computer Virus

I just wanted to remind all of you out there to make sure that you have some sort of antivirus protection on your computer and that it is up to date. Back in January I got a virus on my laptop. At that time I realized that my antivirus was out of date. I went and purchased a new one and tried to install it on my computer, but the virus would not let me. I took it to a local office supply store to have the virus removed and then install my new antivirus software. $170.00 and three days later it was up and running great. Exactly five months later I now have the same virus on the same laptop. After doing a little checking, I realized that the local office supply store never installed my antivirus software. Are you kidding me? By the time I pay for another repair, if I can't get them to fix it for free, I could have almost bought a new laptop. So, my advice to you is to check your computers antiviral protection and make sure it is working and that it is current. This could be a frustrating and costly mistake!

Smokin Hot Deal at CVS Wednesday Only

I received an email from CVS stating that tomorrow only the "magic coupon machine" will be printing out a coupon to get a 12-pk Pepsi or Diet Pepsi for .99.  Just scan your extracare card at the extracare coupon center to get your coupon.  This offer is only available on Wednesday June 15, 2011 and limited to one 12-pk per coupon.  If you do not have a CVS extracare card, you can get one at the register at any CVS.

Scan your card until the screen says, "no more coupons available".  Sometimes it will print several different coupons.  Do this each and every time you shop at CVS.  The coupons change often and you can combine them with a manufacturer coupon for an even bigger savings.

Let's Start With Some Easy Walgreens Deals-Part 1 (week of 6/12-6/18/11)

Here are some items you can get free or for under $1.00 this week at Walgreens.  When you see RR, that is a Register Reward.  You can use RR's on your next purchase, but don't use it to buy the same item that you received the RR for or you will not get another RR.  Example:  You could buy the Blistex RPM for men Lip Care for $2.00 and you will get a $2.00 RR back.  You could then buy theWal-Fex 24 Hour Allergy Relief 5 ct. for $3.99 and use your $2.00 RR towards the purchase price.  You would then pay $1.99 oop (out of pocket) and get a $3.99 RR back.  If you purchased another Blistex RPM for men Lip Care and used your $2.00 RR to pay for it, you would not get the $2.00 RR for the second one.  Also, you will only get 1 RR for each product in one transaction.  So, if you wanted to purchase 2 Blistex RPM for men Lip Care, you would want to do two seperate transactions so that you would get the RR for each one.

My H-E-B Shopping Trip 6/7/11

I just wanted to show you what you have to look forward to if you subscribe to my blog.  On 6/7/11 I went to H-E-B and purchased all of the items shown in the picture.  My original total was $43.89.  After coupons I walked away with one loaf of bread, one bag of cotton balls, five Revlon eye shadows, two Revlon lip glosses and seven bottles of Ken's salad dressing for only .89.  That is a savings of about 98%.  The lady behind me in line was totally amazed.  I loved it!

Save $3.00 off a $3.00 purchase at Staples

Go to staples.com and click on the Weekly Ad on the right hand side of the page. Click on the box that says "A special offer for you and all your friends". Then print out the coupon for $3.00 off any purchase of $3.00 or more.  The coupon is valid through 6/11/11.  There are a few exclusions, but you can get $3.00 worth of office supplies for free. Getting Started

I guess there is no real way to start blogging, other than to just jump right in.  So, that is what I am going to do.  I will start out slow, since so many of you are new to couponing.  I will explain the coupon policy for several  different stores that I will be posting deals for.  I will highlight one store a day and post a few deals for that store. Please feel free to post comments or questions.  Today I am going to show you a very simple way to save.  Just read my next post.
